Welcome back!!! Master Dail together with Baste set foot on Leyte on December 26, 2009 at the Tacloban DZR Airport. We didn’t waste any time as the day was filled with a lot of activities, including some food tripping, camera clickin’, party & more. Does “F” in LSF stands for “FUN”???

Bombo Radyo Philippines Star FM 95.1 interviewed LSF’s handsome President Jude Millanes and the dashing and ever-active Execom Chair Trisha Papagitan. The interview focused on how LSF is bringing photography closer to the hobbyists & enthusiasts of Leyte & Samar, they also discussed about the upcoming big event — “Through the Eyes of the Masters” – a 2-day photography seminar-workshop on portraiture by renowned master photographers – father & daughter tandem – Ibarra & Dail Deri. And the BILLBOARD RISES! LSF announces the DERI Workshop to the Public

October 10, 2009. Saturday. Sen. Enage St, Tacloban City. – The LEYSAMFOTO unveils the TOWERING 16ft x 25 ft billboard officially announcing the upcoming not-to-be missed photography event THROUGH THE EYES OF THE MASTERS: A PHOTOGRAPHY Seminar-Workshop on PORTRAITURE with Maestros IBARRA DERI nad DAIL DERI. El Presidente Jude Millanes manned the installation with the help of several other LSF members. The billboard stand atop the Everwell Drughouse building along Sen. Enage St. and can be seen passing the main streets of Tacloban City. It dramatically illuminates as it is lighted at night making it even more visible. Another smaller billboard has been simultaneously unveiled along the bustling Marasbaras street, facing Robinson’s Place Tacloban and Market Savers.

The installation took more than 3 hours under the heat of the SUN!
